In 2010, the District of Lillooet moved forward with Economic Development initiatives focusing on the ‘Guaranteed Rugged’ lifestyle of the community. Highlighting an active lifestyle – hiking, biking, ice-climbing, snowmobiling – the ‘Guaranteed Rugged’ identity has achieved international recognition for the community and brought home a series of awards for Economic Development.
