Emergency Services
Emergency services are available at the Lillooet Hospital 24 hours per day.
If you have a medical emergency, call BC Ambulance at 256-7111.
For non-emergency health questions, please contact your family physician or call the 24-hour BCNurseline at 1-866-215-4700.
Acute Care Services
Six in-patient beds including maternity care.
Surgical services available 2 days per week with local and visiting specialists.
Medical Imaging
Diagnostic services are provided on the written request of a physician.
X-ray, ECG, and Holter Monitoring services: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Laboratory
Lab services are provided on the written request of a physician.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm: Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Dietician Services / Diabetes Educator
Dietician services are available at the Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre every 6 weeks.
Appointments can be made at 256-4233. Physician referral is not required.
Mental Health and Addictions Services
Mental health services are available by appointment at the Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre. Services include counseling and information regarding depression, grief, emotional distress, reactions to traumatic events, adjustments to change and serious mental illnesses. Referral to other resources is also available, including to more comprehensive Mental Health services in Kamloops. Tel 250-256-1343.
Alcohol and Drug counseling services are also available. Tel 250-256-1319.
Home and Community Care
Home and community care nursing provides non-emergency professional nursing services to people at home including long term care assessments. Services include assessment of nursing care needs and consultation, care coordination, and direct nursing care such as palliative care, wound care and teaching. Nursing services are provided while encouraging independence and self-management. Hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Tel: 250-256-1326.
Home Support
Home support services are designed to help people remain independent in their own homes with support of family, friends and community services. Home Support services include personal care, caregiver respite, or other specialized care at home. Home Support also provides a frozen meal services. Tel: 250-256-1313.
Adult Day Care
The Adult Day program offers support to maintain independence and socialization for adults and seniors. The Adult Program also provides respite for caregivers. This service is provided every Wednesday at Mountain View Lodge. This program can be accessed through Home and Community Care. Tel: 250-256-1326.
Support Living
Sumac Suites has 6 supportive living suites for individuals who require assistance with meals and housekeeping. Supportive living does not provide nursing care. For more information contact the Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre at 256-4233.
Residential Care
Mountain View Lodge provides 21 complex care beds for individuals who require 24 hour nursing care as well as 1 respite bed. These beds are accessed through Home and Community Care. Individuals must have a long term care assessment completed to determine eligibility for residential care.

- Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, phones are off between 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
- 4.5 full time physicians – includes one Surgeon and one Anesthetist.
- Office is set up to provide comprehensive care for all aspects of family medicine. This includes obstetrics. Patients will be referred to the appropriate specialists when another opinion or special procedure is required.

Healthy Options
Community Health Initiative that provides opportunities for community members to experience programs and services that impact personal health. We provide information, education, and recreation sessions on a myriad of topics. These topics include alternative practices, nutrition, exercise, chronic illness, and wellness. The program is designed to empower individuals, families, and communities to engage in personal responsibility and accountability for personal health as prevention to acute health care issues. Programs and services are free of charge and are available to the community at large.
Addiction Services
Primary and tertiary services that include: one to one sessions; group sessions; referrals to treatment and community education. For individuals that may be interested in services that incorporate a traditional and cultural aspect - services are available through the Addiction Service Program. The program model incorporates a harm reduction perspective and is available to the community at large.
Lillooet Food Bank Services
The Lillooet Food Bank at the Lillooet Friendship Centre is registered with the Provincial and National Food Bank affiliates and provides supplementary and emergency food supplies to those in need Service is available to individuals and families and is free of charge and open to the community at large.
Victims Assistance, Safe Home, and Trauma Counseling Services
All social health programs operate at a office, home visit, and crisis level and offer one to one sessions, groups sessions, and provide services across a wide geographical area. Services are open to the community at large and flexible to meet individual, family, and community needs.

The Family Place
The family place has a number of family, early childhood development programs, infant development, infant message, moving and growing classes, birthing support (Dula), and pre-natal classes

Health Connections – Lillooet & Lytton Transit System
The service is operated by Mile 0 Taxi & Charters. All customers must call (250) 256-7706 at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee their seat.
When scheduling Kamloops medical appointments with a doctor, let the receptionist know that you will be using Health Connections. Although medical appointments have priority, everyone is eligible to use this service if space is available.

One-way fare is .00. Have your exact fare ready as the driver does not carry change.
Transit Service on Tuesdays
Lillooet - Cache Creek - Savona - Kamloops
The bus will leave Lillooet at 8:00 am, Pavillion at 8:45 am, Cache Creek at 9:45 am and Savona at 10:15 am, arriving in Kamloops at 11:00 am.
If you have mobility difficulties, special door-to-door service is available.
Return
The bus will leave Kamloops at 4:00 pm, Savona at 4:45 pm, Cache Creek at 5:15 pm and Pavillion at 6:15 pm, arriving in Lillooet at 7:00 pm.
Transit Service on Thursdays
Lillooet - Lytton - Ashcroft - Savona - Kamloops
The bus will leave Lillooet at 8:00 am, Lytton at 9:00 am, Spences Bridge at 9:30 am, and Ashcroft at 10:05 am and Savona at 10:45 am, arriving in Kamloops at 11:30 am.
If you have mobility difficulties, special door-to-door service is available.

The bus will leave Kamloops at 4:00pm, Savona at 4:45, Ashcroft at 5:25, Spences Bridge at 6:00 and Lytton at 6:30, arriving in Lillooet at 7:30pm.
