Governance Audit for the District of Lillooet
As part of a Governance Audit, on June 1, 2010, the District of Lillooet hosted an informational evening with well known author, municipal advisor, and consultant, George Cuff.
Mr. Cuff, joined by Ron Born, former CAO of Kelowna, discussed the principles of governance and the roles and responsibilities of Local Government Council and administration. Mr. Cuff also answered a number of questions from the public. The presentation is attached below.
During the two day review, Mr. Cuff and Mr. Born also met with Council, Administration, Staff, and various representatives of community organizations.
